in memory of a godless man

Once again, the silent door of death has welcomed in another man's tragic soul. His last breath has dissipated. His last heartbeat has drummed a final farewell. From this moment on, all that surrounds him will be sorrow. For unfortunately during this man's fragile time on earth, he rejected the good news of life. He merely lived out each day his way - following the wide path that so many others walk, while reasoning that everything would work out in the end.

He was never approached by those who knew better... for they were convinced it was too risky. They believed they were inadequate, unprepared. They knew they would look foolish; so why make a situation uncomfortable or awkward? Rather to remain quiet and pray for God to help him figure it out. But alas, they never prayed. They never spoke. They walked away toward the rest of their days and ignored the still, small voice within.

So, he missed the gift.

Now, he will never see light again.
He will never hear laughter again.
He is damned in horror, separated from the King of kings... forever.

As the sun rises over the earth and a new day begins, please remember this man.
Then consider what you will say to the godless man you meet today.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:18–20)

Blessings!
