this is the day to worship the King

It is a day of mourning and liberation when we realize that we are not perfect. We do not have all the right answers.  We are broken and in need of Divine repair.

It is a day of sacrifice and freedom when we give up our individual ideologies and surrender to the One who is perfect.  The One who has all the right answers.  The One who repairs, restores, redeems, and revives.

This is the day to rejoice and be glad in that One.
This is the day to worship the King.

Thank you so much, Jesus.

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. (1 Chronicles 29:11)
