O foolish men clothed in earth's grey
Protesting God who rules each day
Defending your short breaths be heard
Whilst ye deny Creator's Word
Forgetting why forefathers fought
Ignoring patriarchal cost
Excusing self; blaming Divine
Taking, breaking... "Mine mine mine!"
O foolish hearts of lukewarm grey
Ignoring Life... the Truth, the Way
Pretending will exclude you nought
For soon you'll bow, you'll kneel, you'll rot
The wage is high, O muddled men
Your path is wide with tragic end
"I do not know you," He'll soon decree
Is this, O soul, to become of thee?
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)
