o men of now

O men of now,
Who protest today,
For pride, for power,
From cradle to grave.

Your efforts, your advances, excels and campaigns,
Will fall away like the chaff that the wind drives away.

For what of your future?
What matters beyond?
Is it treasures of men?
Or perhaps, is it God?

Walk away from false counsel.
Stand not where sin dabbles.
Do not sit with the scorned, the bitter, the rabbles.

But in His delight come obey the true Law.
His spoken eternal.
His glory, His all.

For love is the answer.
In His Name alone.
His Kingdom, His glory...
Come seek Him to know.

For God so loved that He gave and He gives.
For God so loves that He shares with us Him!
O men of now, how I pray that you'll see,
How great is God's love for you and for me.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16-17)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.  (1 Corinthians 13:4-8a)
