do...

Do to others as you would have them do to you. (Luke 6:31)

Do to others...
Do...
To perform. To execute. To accomplish. To follow-through.

As opposed to don't.
Don't to others. (That just sounds weird, doesn't it?)
But so many of us DON'T.

Sure we dream about doing.
We talk about doing.
We write about doing.
We even commend others when we hear they are doing.
But if WE don't actually DO... then what's the point???

Aren't we supposed to DO as God commands?
And if so, to what extent?
To what lengths has God called us to DO to others?

Do to others as you would have them do to you.

I don't know about you, but I'm pretty protective of myself. I try my best to take care of myself. And, in general, it is instinctively in my nature to attend to my own needs quickly and effectively... to DO for my own betterment, improvement, growth, peace.

When I consider this example, do I DO the same for others?...

Or do I DON'T?

How about you?
Do you proceed to treat others the same way (and with the same sense of urgency) that you choose to treat yourself?

Do...

It is a command of our King.
It is a choice to obey.
It is God's way to reflect the generous heart of our humble Savior in order to reach a world desperate to receive Him.

So, do...

Do to others.

Do to benefit the One who always, ALWAYS is performing, executing, accomplishing, following-through, and lovingly DOING to benefit you!
DO... for Jesus!

Blessings!
