let me brighten as Your Light shines

Perfect Savior, Prince of Peace;
Let my selfishness now cease.
Let me showcase all Your good.
Let your love be understood.

Simple, silent, Spirit fill me;
May my thoughts stay close to Thee.
May my heart steadfast in Yours.
May my faith hold strong, endure.

Gracious, glorious, God on High;
Give Your words, dear Adonai.
Give Your joy to whom despair.
Give Your hope and let me care.

Father, Son, and Holy Ghost;
Let my life please You the most.
May my way get lost in You.
Give me all to say and do.

All my efforts are Yours, Divine.
So, let me brighten as Your Light shines!

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
