do not be anxious... a reminder to choose differently

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7)

Do not yield your emotions to anxiety.
Do not live in worry, apprehension, or fear.
Choose differently.
Rather, in every circumstance... in every moment, go to The Lord in prayer.
He is near.
He is here.
He is available.

He knows exactly what you are going through.
He understands the desperation deeply rooted in trenches of trouble and uncertainty.
He wants to be your Savior... always!
He offers to be your Helper.
He died and rose again to be your Redeemer.
There is nothing He cannot face and overcome.
He loves you.

So, petition and present everything to Him, dear ones.
Tell Him every want, every desire, every burden, every issue.
Bow down to The King.
Worship His Kingdom.
Obey His rule and, most importantly, trust His Way.
Leave all outcomes at the feet of His Throne.
Leave every burden upon His altar - for He will manage them wisely and in His due time.
For there is none greater than God.
There is no one like The One.
He is able.

Yes, no matter what may be going on today,
Always, always be thankful in Him.
Always acknowledge His goodness and grace.
Always rejoice under His headship and glory.
I will say it again: Rejoice!

He is your God.
He is available.
He loves you.
He is able.

Believe!
Discipline yourself under the guidance of His Holy Spirit.
Submit your path to Jesus... for He is The Christ!
Surrender everything to your King today and allow the peace of God to guard your heart and mind.
His Way is a better way.
He alone is the solution to faithfully seek.

So do not be anxious... choose differently!
Today, choose to faithfully serve and trust The Lord God Almighty!
