Sunday, 9/10/17: Watching all the hurricane Irma news coverage for Florida and thinking about how just two weeks ago my own city was living out the worst of hurricane Harvey. Remembering the selfless heroes who showed up to help rescue and rebuild after Harvey hit... some, my own Texas neighbors, and some, sweet travelers from churches and families originating from other states throughout our beautiful nation! So many dear hearts who packed up whatever supplies they could gather, and without planned agenda or confirmed destination simply showed up to provide aid where it was needed most. God is good. Love is real. Let's remember to extend the same courtesy and hope to those affected by Irma. We love you and are praying, sweet Florida brothers and sisters. God is with us! ❤️ ~V
