This is Jerry. Jerry is one of my many sweet Texas neighbors. A gentleman. A quiet man. Also, Jerry loves to barbecue. Nothing more, nothing less. So today, Jerry donated his time, money, and heart to BBQ for his neighbors who have been affected by hurricane Harvey. His love, of course, created a domino effect and suddenly Jerry also had a lovely group of neighborly volunteers donating their time, money, and hearts to others also. When it was all said and done, Jerry gave out close to 100 meals today which he home-smoked/bbq'd himself. I'm not a newsworthy person or anyone in particular of importance... but in my book, Jerry is! What would our blessed country look like if we all chose to love a little bit more like Jerry? Thanks Jerry!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
